NEW STUDENT HORSEBACK RIDING OR DRIVING LESSON
$75/LESSON
1-hr private horseback riding lesson includes handling horses, grooming, tacking, riding or driving, untacking. Mandatory 3 new student lessons to apply for discounted contract rate for lessons, qualifying for leasing and special needs evaluations for summer pony camp.
Horsemanship Program
$55/LESSON (CONTRACT RATE) Due the First of each month
Weekly horseback riding lesson spot focused on horsebackriding skills and horsemanship.. All students are required to participate helping on the farm for 1 hr/week. Available to students who have completed 3 new student lessons and ages 8 years and up with instructor approval. This is a contract option requires 48 hours to reschedule or cancel a lesson. 30 days notice to cancel contract and is prepaid at $220-$275 (4-5 lesson/each month). Horsemanship Program for Lil’ Bucks and up
$65/LESSON (CONTRACT RATE) Due the First of each month
Weekly horseback riding lesson spot for ages 2 years and up and special needs. Sensory integrated. One on one time. Focused on the individual student’s needs.
Available to students who have completed 3 new student lessons. This is a contract option requires 48 hours to reschedule or cancel a lesson. 30 days notice to cancel contract and is prepaid at $260-$325 (4-5 lesson/each month). Please see contract for further details.
Practice Rides
$25/PRACTICE RIDE (CONTRACT RATE) due First of each month
Experienced current lesson students may request to add 1-5 weekly practice rides in addition to their weekly lesson. Qualified students will be notified when their skills have developed and they are ready to ride on their own. Initially practice rides are performed under instructor supervision until instructor notifies student when their skills have developed for fully independent rides. All students under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult while in the saddle, saddle time is 30mins max plus cooling out or walking trailride following practice ride. Students must help with farm activities for 1hr prior to or after their ride time. This option is in addition to a weekly lesson contract at an additional $100-$400/month. Farm Visits
$100 for One hour
Perfect for families looking for a wholesome activity. Excellent for aspiring horse lovers that want to ride a horse, but not ready to commit to regular lessons and learning horsemanship. Meet the horses, goats, and chickens! includes pony rides for up to 4 riders, grooming & tacking of 1 horse appropriate for all riders. All children under 5 must have direct adult supervision.
Trail Rides
$125/per person 1.5 hours
each rider is partnered with an appropriate horse and Windcroft student. Session will include:
- Grooming
- Tacking
- Riding in the arena and on the trail
- Untacking
This can be an individual or group session. For Private Group sessions add $100. Rain or Shine
Full Board
$700/month includes:
- in/out stall with 24/7 access with a buddy if or when suitable
- rotational worming, sand clear, probios, if needed.
- application of equispot (added fee)
- grain plus balancer, hay – high forage diet, bedding
- care – including blanketing, feedings 3-4x daily, field turnout as available, arranging vet/farrier/teeth appointments and handling of horses.
- access to trails, fields, 60×60 covered arena, outdoor arena, wash rack, heated grain room, tack room, viewing room, storage loft.
- personalized care including retirement perks
Full Horse – Training Board
$975/month for 1/2 hour undersaddle sessions or ground training sessions 3 times a week includes all features of full board. *All horse owners are required to help at the farm 1 hour per week.
Horse Training
Fees:
$75/hr at Windcroft Stables with your horse or
$75/hr at your farm training. Travel fees apply for over 5 miles.
Working Student Credits
Work credit available for reduction of board or lessons. Tailored to fit students needs, experience, and availability. Happy to train!

Pony Camp
Beginner Rider Lil Buck Sessions ages 5-7, 9:30a-12p $275/week. extra hours may be available. Includes daily lesson, developing horsemanship skills.
Intermediate Rider Big Buck Sessions ages 8 and up. 9a-2:30p $425/week. Includes daily lessons, horsemanship skills, fun afternoon activities for those full day campers
Advanced Rider Sessions 9a-2:30p, $425/week. Includes daily lessons, horsemanship skills, fun afternoon activities. Instructor approval required.
