Our quaint little cottage is available to animal loving guests for short term rental.
Our cottage is immersed in a farm setting with free range chickens, goats, and horses. The animals are in view through all the windows – you can see them and they can see you! Hang out with the horses, talk to them, sing to them, play them music – they love the entertainment. Please no treats for the horses – they are on special diets and they must earn their treats! We are happy to show you how to pet all the animals safely. There are farm noises – whinnies for food, bumps into the fence, goats bleating, thundering hooves, chickens bawking, our lgd pup barking and warding off predators. Horses and Farms are healing. Come enjoy our vibe!
The Logistics
Entry is on the main level – including a porch with a daybed for those who shouldn’t go upstairs, a living room / dining area, full kitchen with full sized appliances, and a full bathroom. Upstairs is a bright and spacious bedroom equipped with a queen and 2 twin beds. A window AC and fans are available for additional comfort. The gas fired wood stove is on a thermostat for your comfort auto on/off. Our roomy couch reclines for your comfort. Kitchen is fully stocked with supplies including a toaster and microwave. Inferred space heaters for added warmth.
Added Services
You may also schedule a lesson on one of our horses or ponies or schedule a farm visit to learn more in depth about all the animals on the farm that includes feeding goats and chickens, goat hikes, collecting eggs, and pony rides as available on the schedule for an added cost. You are welcome to participate in farm chores or the feeding or grooming of the animals – this time is free and well supervised and must be scheduled ahead of time.

Rental Options:
- Short term stays $1000/wk
- Midterm stays $2000/month for 3 month lease – includes utilities
- Long term stays $1700/month plus propane for 1 year lease
A 50% deposit is due upon booking, balance due upon arrival – local checks, cash or Venmo accepted.
Please note – we do not allow any pets to visit or stay on our property – for their safety and our animals safety.
